This page provides the details you’ll need to determine the price of a custom art commission. The pricing below is set by various aspects of your desired artwork. This outline enables you to mix and match aspects to build what you want commissioned. Digital illustrations are done in Procreate. Traditional Illustrations are done in pen and ink with watercolor.

While this is a comprehensive list, I am open to negotiating something more intricate if you really want me to draw something epic for you! Otherwise, go through these steps below and tally up what you would like illustrated.

1: Select the Desired Medium and Size for the Artwork

Size primarily affects the amount of detail I am able to fit in the space.

Traditional
– Small (5×7 in): $10
– Large (9×12 in.): $15

Digital
– Small (6×9.5): $5
– Large (11×17): $10

2: Choose a Portrait Type

Traditional
– Icon/Emblem: add $35
– Bust: add $40
– Waist-Up: add $55
– Full Body (Traditional): add $65

Digital
– Icon/Emblem: add $40
– Bust: add $50
– Waist-Up: add $65
– Full Body (Digital): add $85

*Note: Traditional paintings will feature line art in pen. Digital illustrations can be lined upon-request.

3: Select Additional Options

  • Color
    – Traditional: add $25
    – Digital: add $20
  • Shading: add $25
    – *Note: This if for traditional pieces only. Digital illustrations include this.
  • Environment/Background/Setting: add $40
  • Extensive Detail: $20 and up
    – *Note: This is something to be discussed with the client on a case-by-case basis. Extensive detail (generally) entails heavily-detailed jewelry, prominent and intricate tattoos, or similar embellishments on armor, clothing, etc.
  • Additional Companion (for instance: a pet or steed): add $20/per
    – Companion Armor: add $15/per
  • Postal delivery of Traditional artwork*
    – Small: add $5
    – Large: add $10
    – *Note: USA only. International on a per-case basis.

*All traditional work will be scanned and emailed as a .png or .jpg at 300 dpi by default. Shipping
will affect the final price. Digital work can be sent as a .png or .jpg, and the .psd file on request.
